Maple Vanilla Latte

This homemade latte is packed with hints of maple, vanilla and cinnamon. The secret to this  delicious coffee is sweet maple syrup!

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • ½ cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon maple extract
  • Pinch ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Using a milk frother, heat and froth 1 cup of milk. 

  2. Pour coffee into mug.  

  3. Top the coffee with the milk.

  4. Stir in maple syrup, vanilla extract, maple extract and cinnamon to taste.

  5. Top with foamed milk.

Recipe Notes

If you do not have a frother, no need to fear. I got your back.

Pour your milk into a mason jar and heat in the microwave until warm. Do not boil!  Remove from the microwave and put on the lid tightly.  Just shake the jar until the milk gets foamy.  Open the jar very slowly and carefully, because of the pressure.  Pour into your coffee. 

Another option is to use an immersion blender to froth the milk.
