A quick and easy alternative to your favorite Philly cheesesteak, using ground beef, special seasonings and topped with provolone cheese.
In a large, 12-inch nonstick skillet add the meat, onions, bell pepper, celery mushrooms, garlic, steak seasoning and pepper. Stir and break up the beef until browned and crumbly, 7 to 10 minutes. Drain excess grease.
Sprinkle the flour over the meat/veggies and stir to combine. Add the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and BBQ sauce. Cook and stir the mixture over medium heat for 1 minute.
Simmer until most of the liquid has reduced and the mixture is thick, about 5 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Serve on toasted buns, with a slice of provolone cheese.
